ART GALLERY BELLA VITA

Izabela Auner – Kargól, chairman of BELLA VITA COUNTRY MANOR, decided in June of 2002 to establish professional art gallery. The function of art gallery custodian, with duties of author’ s creation of it, has been confided to Seweryn A.Wisłocki- culture anthropologist, art critic, museum manager and essayist.

Gallery is open – that means we don’t recognize Polish, as the remain after real socialism, division of art, for professional, and not professional artists. The works presented must be a pieces of art, not only because of „ artistic school’s diplomas”. The most important is the presentation of art by prominent, present, polish artists, emigrants, and is based on promoting artistic value and cultural relationships with Gdow land.

ART GALLERY BELLA VITA is the first, professional art gallery on the Gdow territory with European range of operations.

Exhibitions realised:

2002-2003 Art season.

  1. Czesław Pyrgies, Painting; Charitable exhibition and auction of art, „Wine celebrity” October - November 2002r. The artist achived perfection by self- learning in three art techniques: watercolour, pastel and oil paints. Is one of the Cracow coloristic school follower called Capism.
  2. Dagmara Kwiatek, Painting; December 2002 - January 2003 r. Diploma of Cracows Academy of Fine Arts in 1996 year. Studentship by City of Cracow. Oil painter.
  3. Franciszek Kurzeja, „At Least We You, My Dear Poland!”( Homage exhibition to respect 80 anniversary of Silesia reunited with Poland), painting, graphic arts, paper cut - out. „- May- June 2003 year. Exhibition organized with Museum of Folk Art in Otrębusy (prof. Marian Pokropek) and Museum of Independence in Warsaw (dyr. dr. Andrzej Stawarz) with Archbishop Damian Zimoń’ s blessing, (Cracow metropolitan). Sponsored by Krzysztof Kuc.

2003-2004 Art season.

1(4) Jerzy Przybył ( Jan Pol), „Myth’s and miracle play’s”, October 2003, exhibition in NordicHouse Gallery, Kraków St. Anna street, 5. Exhibition realized in cooperation between BELLA VITA ART GALLERY and NordicHouse Gallery, with Sweden Kingdom embassy and Kingdom of Denmark consulate patronate.

The exhibition was moved to City Museum in Zabrze( December 2003- January 2004 r.) and after that, to Gallery of Contemporary Art in Olsztyn ( may 2004).

Jerzy Przybył is the most prominent swedish art’s, with Polish roots. He is known in USA as well. His art comes from Nordic and Slovian myth’s fascination.

2(5) Franciszek Kurzeja „ Under Your defence...” Painting and artistic paper cut - out September 2003. Exhibition was the effect of BELLA VITA’ s cooperation with Gdow commune sway, to enrich 25 th Great Jubilee of John Paul II pontificate. Exhibition presents artistic paper cut- out’s presenting Mother of God, and oil paintings showing pastigee of church paintings from Gdow, Niegowić and Szczyrzyc.

This exhibition was twice blessed by archpapa Cardinal Franciszek Macharski, Cracow’s metropolitan( printed in exhibition’s catalogue) and also  Damian Zimoń, Cracow’s metropolitan (Galleries archives).

3(6) Norbert Paprotny, Painting, October 2003- February 2004. Exhibition is the effect of cooperation with City Museum in Zabrze, Independence Museum in Warsaw and archdiocese Museum in Katowice. Norbert Paprotny is one of the most remarkable polish artists living and working abroad. He comes from Zabrze, but for 30 years live’s in Zurich (Switzerland). His art is very religious, built upon Decalogue and is truthful, sometimes too much.

2004-2005 Art season.

1(7) Janusz Kulma „Gdow land. Our magical world center. Nature, culture and people”, June-September 2004. Exhibition patroned by Association of Gdow Land Friends. Janusz Kulma, living in Niegowic near Gdow is a photographer with subtly sensibility, that helps to call him „a lyric documentalist”. As a lover of his land – Gdow – he makes pictures of fauna and flora to make remarkable remembrance.

2(8) Kazimierz Idzi „ From memory, faith and history”, September – October 2004. Sculpture and bas-relief. Exhibition acompanies the celebrations of Jubilee „220 years of Tsars track from Lvov to Vienna”. Kazimierz Idzi, prominent artist – sculpturer living near Wieliczka, with folk roots. Sensitive, full of reflection, and gifted. He creates for 30 years.

3(9) Janusz Kulma „Gdow land. Our magical world center. Nature, culture and people”, October 2004-June 2005. Exhibition reactivated at publics wish.

2005-2006 Art season.

 1(10) Bohdan Wróblewski „ White Eagle with weapon and color of Henryk Dąbrowski’ s Legions”. Exhibition organized with Museum of Independence in Warsaw and with Profesor Stanisław Fischers name Museum in Bochnia. ART GALLERY BELLA VITA August – September 2005; Profesor Stanisław Fischers name Museum in Bochnia September – October 2005; Administrative Office in Wieliczka: October – November 2005; Province Public Library in Cracow November – December 2005. Bohdan Wróblewski fihished Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1957. Since 1968 he cooperates with Museum of Polish Army. Between 1981 and 85 he was creating projects of figures for „Panorama Racławicka” in Wrocław.

2006-2007 Art season.

 1(11) Gustaw Hadyna „Sculptures and medals”. Exhibition organized in cooperation with Association of Gdow Land Friends, realized with every year celebration „Art and Wine”. Gustaw Hadyna is great sculpturer artist, formed by folk, regional traditions, but with universal hunting view. He creates monumental, gallery and ornament sculptures. From 7 of September 2006 till 15 of November 2006.

2(12) „Marshal Józef Piłsudski in the way to independence of Poland”. Exhibition organized with Museum of Independence in Warsaw, and Association of Gdow Land Friends in Gdow, to celebrate 88 anniversary of gaining independence by Poland. (graphics by Z. Czermański from private sets, Janusz Brol and Janusz Berel).

Zdzisław Czermański(1900 – 1970) Artist painter, drawer, ilustrator and caricaturist. Known by for example: „Sport w karykaturze”, „Mars w karykaturze”, „Marszałek Piłsudski w karykaturze”, „Józef Piłsudski na Syberii” oraz „Józef Piłsudski”. Some of these graphics were shown at the exhibition. Exhibition was presented from 10th of November 2006 till 10th of February 2007.

2007-2008 Art season.

1(13)”Mehoffer/ Mehofer” Exhibition organized together with National Museum in Cracow – Józef Mehoffer Home, and with Karl Mehofer, fabulous wine maker from Wagram – Dunaj terrains (Lower Austria). Exponents of two branches of one family: artistic and wine. The exhibition acompanies every year celebration „Art and Wine”. Exhibition took place in BELLA VITA ART GALLERY 13 of October 2007.

2(14) Izabela Auner – Kargól „Where are You?”, paintings. Organized with Jagielonian Library in Cracow. Exhibition in halls of Jagielonian Library – from 8 of April 2008 till 19 of April 2008. Izabela Auner – Kargól studied Architecture in Vienna, drowings in profesor Edelbert Kobe class. Private studies with artist painter Fritz Dobretsberger. Member of artists group by Klaine Gallery in Vienna. Chairman of BELLA VITA LAND HOUSE. Studies in Katowice, in department of painting and graphics at Academy of Fine Arts.
